YOU are responsible for your own health. It is important that you listen to the wisdom of your own body ~ push your limitations and always work to the threshold of your personal ability. Do not push your body too far too soon.
If you cannot do the exercise for the whole time do as much as you can, next time you will be able to do more. Ensure your body is warmed up before class and never force or strain any postures and should you experience any sharp pain from structural problems, old injuries or illnesses then stop immediately and check with your medical advisor.
If you are uncertain of a posture please ask your teacher about an easier variation. It is recommended that you consult a doctor or medical advisor as to suitability, especially if you suffer from any health problems, special conditions or are taking prescription drugs.
Inform your teacher of any old or current weaknesses or injuries that may affect your practice.
Inverted postures and powerful breath of fire are not recommended for pregnant women or if you are at the start of your moon cycle.
